🌳 Sandbach Town Ranger Service 🌳

We received a message over the weekend that the turning area on Chartwell Park (by Wheelock Primary School) was experiencing visibility and safety issues due to the overhanging willow tree.

The Town Ranger went along to investigate this morning and cleared the excess there and then. Hopefully this will make a difference!

The Ranger Service helps to keep our town looking clean and tidy. It is funded by us as a top-up to Cheshire East Council services, and includes:
❤ Litter picking and general tidying
🧽 Graffiti removal
🌳 Cutting back of overgrown trees, hedges and shrubs
🌿 Enhancing green spaces
🌹 Town centre planting schemes
🪴 W**d removal
🖌 Sign painting and cleaning of signs
🛠 General maintenance

We have been made aware of several jobs across the Wards in Sandbach, which have all been logged. The Town Ranger works 2.5 days a week and is working through the list ❤

Come along to our friendly Bring Me Sunshine group on 9th September at 1.30pm at Sandbach Library. It’s a relaxed and welcoming activity session for people living with dementia and their families and carers.
✨ It’s completely FREE and there’s no need to book – just drop in and say hello!
We’re so pleased to have the continued support of Dementia Friendly Sandbach, who help make this group so special.
