📢 Ten Things You Didn’t Know About the Boer War!
Think you know your history? Think again! 🤔
📍 Sandbach Library
📅 Friday 12 June
⏰ 2:30pm
Join Shena as she shares her quirky “ABCs” of the Anglo-Boer Conflict (1899–1902), bringing to life the stories of Cheshire men who served (and sadly died) in South Africa.
Along the way, she even uncovered her own grandfather’s adventures in 1900. Expect tales of balloons, bicycles 🚲, camels 🐪, Christmas chocolates 🍫 and more.

Fresh from her hugely popular family history talks this spring, come along for an afternoon of stories, surprises, and a few “I never knew that!” moments 😄
Everyone is welcome to this FREE, drop-in event. Bring a friend🙂
