Windows are illuminated from 4pm – 10.30pm each evening, and all remain lit until the 1st of January. Numbers refer to the dates in December that windows open i.e. 5a and 5b open on 5th December.

From 1 December, our Living Advent Calendar windows will be revealed! We will be sharing these on our main Saltaire Inspired page, and will be closing this page (Saltaire Inspired Living Advent Calendar) before December, so please make sure that you follow Saltaire Inspired in order to enjoy this year's fantastic windows!

Would you like to create a window for this year's Saltaire Living Advent Calendar? For our 2025 event, we are looking for:
SALTAIRE RESIDENTS
We welcome children and adults, novices and artists, to come together, meet new friends and create a festive trail. You don’t need any experience but must be able to commit to designing and lighting up your window during December.
WINDOW HOSTS
To ‘host’ a window designed by one of our partners.
SALTAIRE SHOPS & BUSINESSES
Are also very welcome – the more the merrier!
HOW TO TAKE PART
To take part (all welcome!) fill in our online application form by Sunday 28 Sept. After this date, we will be in touch with you to confirm details and your opening date.

All of our Advent windows are lit up daily (from 4pm) until 1 January, so there is still time to come and see them in person over the next few days. Pictured are just a few of the 50+ windows on this year's trail.

The final two windows of our fabulous 2024 countdown have lit up at 5 Mawston St (24a) and 47 Rhodes St (24b). All of the Advent windows will continue to light up daily until 1 January, so there is still plenty of time to come and visit them. Two more stunning windows have lit up tonight on Mary St, at numbers 35 (23a) and 6 (23b), on the penultimate evening of our festive countdown.

If you're in the village this evening, look out for Hall Royd Band, who will be playing from 7.15pm, and following part of the Advent Trail.
