Last night we held our group AGM. We discussed what the sections had been over the last year and our plans for the next year. We have 2 new volunteers to join us as trustees, so welcome to them. Our Group Lead Volunteer presented one of the beavers with their Chief Scout Bronze Award, this is the highest award a beaver can achieve, so well done to you. He also presented 2 of our section leaders with service awards. As leaders, we dont achieve activity or challenge badges, so when we receive length of service awards its quite exciting. Congratulations to both Simon Coombes and Ann-Marie Kinsey for 20 Years service to scouting. Many thanks for you commitment and dedication

We currently have 5 across 3 of our sections. We couldn't do it without you! You turn up week after week and are role models to our young people. We appreciate all the help you give us leaders to run a fun and productive programme

Wilton scouts enjoyed a weekend camping at the hall.
Plenty of food, laughs, toasted marshmallows and activities which included pioneering, woggle making and gardening.

The Scouts are camping this weekend, in loving memory of a wonderful man, who was an absolute legend in Salisbury scouting we have left the flag at half mast. Mick Chalke, will be missed by so many, but his memory wild live on in all we do

🚀 A former Scout is making history again!

Christina Koch, a former Scout from the USA, is part of the crew for Artemis II NASA’s first crewed Moon mission in over 50 years.

She follows in the footsteps of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, who was also a Scout.

In fact, nearly 60% of NASA astronauts have had a connection to Scouting.

Wishing Christina Koch and the entire Artemis II crew a safe journey back to Earth tonight. 🌍

It’s also a remember for Scouts, the sky isn’t the limit… and the way things are going, neither is the Moon!
