🎉Congratulations🎉 to the team from 47 Regt RA for taking part in and winning 5 out of 6 events at the HQ South West Female Festival of Sport. The sports included Basketball, Badminton singles and doubles, Squash and British Army Warrior Fitness. 🏀🏸🏋🏽‍♀️

Thanks to HQSW for inviting the Regiment to the event. It is a great opportunity to promote female participation in sport and be scouted to represent each sport at Regimental, Regional and Army levels.

In the build up to (Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting) in Kigali, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall hosted the Commonwealth diaspora at a reception in Buckingham Palace.

The Army, Navy, and RAF were to nominate five individual soldiers each to attend. LBdr Ozobuekwe from 43 Battery (Lloyd’s Company) was one of those selected to represent the Army.
