Salisbury City Communities The Communities Team is based at the Bemerton Heath Centre (58 - 60 Pinewood Way, SP2 6HU) from which we provide advice, information and services.

Keep up to date with the Salisbury City Council Communities Team and our range of sports, activities, community projects & networks, Your Salisbury Pantry, community grants programme, Community Lottery & Bemerton Heath and Friary Community Centres. Both of our Community Centres act as a hub for the local communities and are available for hire, particularly to local organisations and groups seeking

to enable or create positive change in the city. Your Salisbury Pantry is also run by this team and is a food membership scheme for people on low incomes, situated at 59 Catherine Street, in the centre of Salisbury.

We regret to inform you that, due to a decline in attendance, the staff have decided to pause the Wednesday Club for the summer. The final session will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026. We anticipate resuming in the autumn term.

As part of the Pride in Place programme for Bemerton Heath which delivers up to £20million of funding for the local community, Wiltshire Council is looking to appoint an independent chair of the Pride in Place neighbourhood board for Bemerton.

The role will focus on bringing together residents, community organisations, local services and partners to produce the Bemerton Pride in Place Plan and championing inclusive, community-led decision making.
