22 Gibraltar (1779-1783) Battery have been conducting a G4 revision week, covering Land Rover and trailer familiarisation across the Battery.

For some Gunners this provided the opportunity to learn new skills, while for others it was a chance to refresh and reinforce existing knowledge.

A key focus throughout the week has been fault finding, vehicle checks and the correct reporting of defects. Maintaining vehicles properly and identifying issues early is essential to keeping equipment safe, serviceable and ready to support training and operations.

Strong G4 foundations are a vital part of maintaining operational readiness across the Regiment.

Ex OMANI STORM 26 saw 42 (Alem Hamza) Battery host a group of Omani personnel for a two-week defence engagement activity focused on UAS capabilities within the Regiment.

The first week centred on lectures from subject matter experts covering the key considerations for EAGLE UAS operations as well as Armoured UAS TTPs. During the second week, 42Bty demonstrated the system through long-range flying, a walk-through of flying on the move and tracking enemy targets to produce a briefing pack.

A successful and enjoyable exercise that further strengthened understanding and cooperation between partner forces.

🏃‍♂️ On Sunday 27 September, Sgt Bakhem AGC(SPS), who serves with us at 32 Regiment Royal Artillery, will take on the Berlin Marathon in support of the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund (link to donate in bio).

Sgt Bakhem is a valued member of the Regimental family and is using the challenge to give something back to the Royal Artillery community.

The RACF provides vital assistance to serving and former members of the Royal Artillery and their families.

Last weekend, 6 SP from the Regiment took part in the 100km Annual GWT Trailwalker Challenge.
This helped raise over £600 and spread awareness for the Gurkha Welfare Trust and support for the flood victims in Nepal.

A difficult challenge, the team performed very well, finishing together in 25 hours.
The course took the competitors over rough terrain with some inclement weather along the way.

18 (Quebec 1759) Battery recently returned from a deployment to Fort Irwin, California 🇺🇸 The Battery took part in Project Convergence Capstone 6, supporting 11X and the Experimentation and Trials Group. Through testing of new software, friendly-force situational awareness was increased the Sensor–Decider–Effector chain shortened.

The deployment also provided 18 Battery with an opportunity to integrate with US, Canadian and Australian RPAS units, developing a better understanding of partner platforms, capabilities and ways of operating.

22 (Gibraltar 1779-1783) Battery recently deployed to Estonia 🇪🇪 for Exercise SPRING STORM 26, supporting NATO’s Forward Land Forces and Operation CABRIT.

Operating both Eagle and Puma UAS, the Battery delivered vital ISR to the Brigade, integrated with NATO partners and helped implement new systems to help accelerate the flow of battlefield information.

A valuable opportunity to test, adapt and strengthen our ability to operate alongside allies in a contested environment.

Nijmegen Marches 2026

Several of our soldiers proudly represented the Regiment at the Nijmegen Marches 2026.

They demonstrated exceptional resilience, determination, and teamwork throughout the demanding four-day, 100-mile challenge.

Six members successfully completed the event, with their efforts culminating in being awarded Best Joint Services Team 2026 🏅

This is an outstanding achievement for the team and the Regiment, huge congratulations.

Ex Army Sustainer 26

Ex Army Sustainer 26 is a multinational British Army chef competition held in a realistic Operational Field Catering System (OFCS) environment.

It brings together chefs from the British Army, RAF, civilian contractors, and international military teams (Oman, Lithuania, Germany, and the USA), who are assessed on delivering high-quality meals under pressure, demonstrating skill, teamwork, and hygiene.

Congratulations to the following SP from the Regiment:

Senior Chef of the Year: Cpl Sherpa – Overall 1st Place

Open Street Food: Pte Nawaikalou – Overall 3rd Place

Open Field Catering Team: Cpl Gurunug, LCpl Norman, and LCpl Vakacegu

BAWF - Event 5 Upavon.

The Male Masters team competed in the last event of the 2025/26 BAWF season. Despite small numbers, there were 4 gruelling workouts that tested the Soldiers and Officer.

Unfortunately, 32RA Male Masters lost the tie break workout by 4 seconds! Placing them 2nd in this event. Great work by all involved 👏
