Our Silver Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) certificate has arrived in the post! 🥈

At Entrain Space, our daily mission is to serve those who served. But this award is special for us because it recognises how we support the Armed Forces community as an employer – valuing our own staff veterans, reservists, and military families and ensuring they have a forces-friendly workplace to thrive in.

While we were unfortunately unable to attend the Wessex RFCA Lord-Lieutenant's Awards Ceremony at Devizes Town Hall as planned, we are proud to hold this certificate now. Thank you to our team for helping make such an inclusive workplace, and congratulations to all the other Wiltshire organisations that celebrated this year! 👏

Charlie from Warm and Safe Wiltshire returned yesterday to deliver another practical workshop for our resident veterans.

The interactive session focused on managing finances, offering direct guidance on tackling debt and accessing winter electricity vouchers. (Our veterans remained strictly camera-shy, but the information was well received).

Tea, coffee, and custard creams were provided!

Happy Friday! We are wrapping up the week with some good news for our community.

Kelli and our new helping hand Steve visited Old Sarum and Longhedge Pantry this week to see firsthand how they support local people – including some of our veterans. These Pantries are fantastic, friendly community resources that can help budgets stretch further and allow our residents to focus on building their civilian.

And the good news is that an official new community pantry is opening here in Wilton next month! Thanks to Wilton Town Council for supporting this fantastic new collaborative initiative that will really make a difference.

He’s been part of the family for a little while now, and we already can't imagine Entrain Space without Rob Johns, our new Building Manager!

Rob hit the ground running from day one and spent his first few weeks getting to know our residents and making sure our facility runs like clockwork.

Rob is a veteran himself. He left the Corps of Royal Engineers in 2021 following 25 years of dedicated service, and transferred directly into the Army Reserve, where he continues to serve as an infrastructure specialist with the Royal Engineers.

As we enter an exciting new chapter of redevelopment at Entrain Space, Rob’s extensive experience in construction, facilities management and project management is exactly what we need. He’ll be steering us through some fantastic upcoming building upgrades that will make our spaces even better for the veterans we support.

Great to see Matthew connecting with Rachel Willis, Lead Practitioner from the Defence Gardens Scheme, at last week's Crisis and Resilience Fund partnership event in Trowbridge.

They spent time discussing Salisbury’s "secret garden" and the incredible therapeutic work being done to support veterans – including some of our own. They even found themselves dreaming big about a future partnership minibus! 🚌✨

Great energy at the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) partnership event in Trowbridge last week! It was fantastic connecting with the team at Wiltshire Council and fellow partners in the CRF ecosystem to discuss opportunities to work together to strengthen delivery.

Our team is currently hard at work behind the scenes laying the groundwork for a major new chapter. While we can’t share the details just yet, attending this event has given us incredible momentum for what’s ahead.

Behind every great event is an incredible team working hard behind the scenes! ✨

As we look back on our recent breakfast event, we want to give a massive shout-out to our fantastic caterers, Salisbury & Amesbury Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club (AFVBC). Not only did they keep our guests incredibly well-fed, but their warmth made everyone feel truly welcome. 🤝❤️🍽️

We also want to say a huge thank you to the talented team who helped us capture and present the event so professionally. The stunning photos we’ve been sharing are all thanks to the brilliant Babs of The Business Lens - Barbara Leatham Photography, who also happens to be an RAF veteran.

And a special mention goes to Ed from AnX agency for his high-quality design work that brought our event materials to life.

Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs

Community in action! 🎪🇬🇧

We are incredibly proud to announce that Entrain Space has received a fantastic donation of £750 from the organisers of the Wilton Community Carnival.

Every year, our resident veterans roll up their sleeves to help volunteer and bring this brilliant community event to life. Seeing that hard work come full circle to support our veteran community means the world to us. Mutual support is at the heart of everything we do.

Since our core team couldn't make the presentation at the carnival AGM last night, we were absolutely delighted to send our volunteer support worker, Iona (pictured centre right with black trousers), to accept the big cheque on our behalf. You might recognise her from her recent helping hand with us where she did a stellar job representing the team.

A massive thank you to the carnival committee, the local community, and everyone who supported the event. These funds will go directly toward supporting the veterans at Entrain Space.

Bravo Zulu to everyone involved! 🎖️
