Friends of Dainewell Park

Friends of Dainewell Park We aim to create a family friendly community environment in Dainewell Park (between Hornbeam Close & Elmwood).

Dainewell Park is situated between Hornbeam Close and Elmwood in Sale. The Friends of Dainewell Park Committee was formally constituted on 20th February 2012. The group has worked with the local community to develop the following vision for the Park:
to provide a welcoming environment to enhance and benefit the localcommunity, which is a haven of nature, scent and colour and makes available l

eisure facilities to encourage a range of healthy, educational and fun activities within a clean and safe environment. and has the following mission statement:
to support the achievement of the vision for Dainewell Park, working collaboratively with residents, businesses and local agencies to raise and secure funding, identify and implement improvements and organise appropriate events for the local community. The Committee is currently working with the local community, TMBC’s Greenspace team and Trafford Partnership’s Red Rose team to implement the strategic vision for the Park. Current Committee:

Eight very hard working volunteers from ISG Construction at Trafford Park did some much needed maintenance on the Maze, the overhanging trees and nettles and the sensory garden, today - building on the work done by local resident Mark Ellis. We'll put some more pics on line over the coming days.

SKILLZ.FC HOLIDAY CLUB
October 24th - 28th, 10am - 1pm on Dainewell Park, M33 5LJ
School years 1 - 7. £2 per session.
Pre- registration is required - please use the link below - but you don't need to pay in advance for the sessions - we will be accepting cash and card payments on the day. Your child can attend as many or as few sessions as you wish.

We aim to acknowledge your registration within 24 hours.
