🐝The lower gate and footpath are temporarily closed due to a swarm of mining bees.🐝

Please use an alternative route while we encourage the swarm to relocate safely to a new home. We’ll reopen the path as soon as it is safe to do so.

We’re pleased to share that St Stephen in Brannel Parish Council has had a successful external audit (Annual Governance & Accountability Return - AGAR) this year.

A successful AGAR means our annual accounts and governance have been checked and found to be in good order. It’s an important part of showing that the council is managing public money properly, transparently and responsibly.

📸🚓 Community Speed Watch Launches in St Stephen in Brannel 🚓📸

A huge thank you to the dedicated volunteers who joined us for our very first Community Speed Watch session in partnership with Devon & Cornwall Police.

Community Speed Watch gives local residents the opportunity to play an active role in helping to improve road safety within our parish. We currently have five approved locations across St Stephen in Brannel where monitoring can take place, and we're looking forward to holding regular sessions in the coming months.

It was fantastic to get our first session underway, and we'd like to thank everyone involved for giving up their time to support the initiative. Every session helps raise awareness of vehicle speeds and encourages safer driving through our communities.

If you are interested in becoming a Community Speed Watch volunteer and helping to make our roads safer, we'd love to hear from you.
