This evening our Incident Command Unit was mobilised to an agricultural building fire near Truro.

On scene our firefighters worked with crews from a number of stations providing support for the incident.

Thank you to everyone who came to our charity car wash this morning which has raised an amazing £1000 for Fire Fighters Charity.

A special thank you to Stuart and Hannah for organising the event, our firefighters, family and friends, all who helped to wash the cars, serve refreshments and welcome visitors to our fire station.

Finally a shout out to local businesses Jeremy’s for supplying us with boxes, and the Co-op store for supplying us with cups and milk.

Save the date! Our firefighters will be holding a charity car wash on Saturday the 21st of March in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.

A message for the residents of South Place, Carn Bosavern Close, Carrallack Terrace and Carrallack Lane areas.

There are currently a number of electricity cables down in the area including at the top of South Place.

We have attended and made the scene safe and cordoned the areas off until National Grid can attend.

Please be very careful in these areas and don’t enter the areas cordoned off.

You could respond to a number of incidents including:

* Fires.
* Road traffic collisions.
* Specialist rescues (these include rescues from height, water, and mud).
* Plus many other emergency situations.

2025 has seen our firefighters respond to 153 incidents a big highlight of the year was as we took delivery our new pumping appliance.
