Hello to all our 'Harbour Deckchair' friends !
Hoping you are all keeping well and safe during these tricky times.
We would like to let you know that we have taken the very hard decision to not open the deckchairs this year.
This has been a very difficult and long thought through decision but we strongly believe that it is both in the interest of our own safety and also that of our lovely customers that we let this summer pass us by.
We have also been advised by the Council that we will not be allowed to obstruct the highways/pathways etc as it will compromise the movement of passing pedestrians and affect 'social distancing' .... this would mean that we would be very limited in putting chairs along the harbour wall as we normally do.
And so, our focus will now be on making sure that we will be back in the Spring of 2021 when we hope so very much to see you all return and enjoy our beautiful town when it is far safer to do so.
And rest assured - your deckchair will be reserved and awaiting your return next year !!!!
