✈️ RAF Valley ✈️

Recently, we sent two of our cadets and a staff member to the Wing's annual camp at RAF Valley.

Whilst there, they did:
- A Station visit
- Visited Caernarfon castle
- High Ropes
- Sports with the RAF
- Visited BAE for the Red Arrows
- And so much more

Our cadets have thoroughly enjoyed this camp, thank you to all the staff and RAF Personnel that made this possible for them.

📢 Silver Leadership 📢

Recently, Cdt Mann and Cdt Wlodarz attended RAF Woodvale for their Silver Leadership course. They represented our squadron brilliantly.

We would like to congratulate them on passing with flying marks!

✈️ RAF Leeming MAC ✈️

Recently, we have been able to proudly send several of our cadets with Merseyside Wing to the RAF Leeming Multi-Activity Camp for North Region.

What they got up to:
- Station Visit
- Museum Visit
- Paintball
- Zip World
- And so much more

🏘 Mayor's Cadet 🏘

Recently, our very own Sgt O'Neill has been appointed as the Mayor's Cadet for the next year.

This means that she will be taking on more responsibilities in St.Helens such as accompanying the mayor at events, and demonstrating our Squadron's excellent discipline to them personally.

We are very proud of Sgt O'Neill and we look forward to seeing her progression within this role and as a cadet in the RAFAC.

🏆Passing out 25-26🏆

Earlier this summer, our recent recruitment was formally recognised as cadets. As family, friends and fellow cadets watched as they marked the end of their journey of recruitment and the start of their cadet career.

We are so incredibly proud of how far each of them have came especially in the last few months as the newest cadets had to work around many challenges and most importantly develop into the people you see in front of you today.

Each newly pasted out cadet now holds blue badges in:
- First Aid
- Leadership
- Space
- DofE
- First Class Cadet

📞 Bronze Radio & Cyber 📞

Recently, several of our cadets attended a Sector ran Bronze Radio & Cyber Course.

On this course they learned:
- How to relay communications.
- Quicker ways to communicate over radios.
- More about the theory behind radios.
- How to stay safer online, including 2FA.

🏅WATEX🏅

Recently, our squadron participated in the Wing Adventure Training Exercise. This is a competition between squadrons in activities such as:

- Mountain Biking
- Paddle Boarding
- Climbing
- Orienteering

We're happy to say that CWO Leech gained first place in Mountain Biking and we scored very highly in all the other categories.

✈️ Little Rissington ✈️

Recently, we got the pleasure of sending two of our cadets on the RIAT replacement camp known as Little Rissington Multi-Activity Camp.

CWO Leech took part in week 1's festivities and was proudly representing not only the Sqn but Region as well. Earning himself the nickname SNS by our very own RAFAC WO.

Sgt Jones took part in week 2's festivities and was proudly representing our Sqn to the rest of the Region and others!

What they did combined:
- Fly in a Chinook!
- Taught fieldcraft skills by RAF Regiment!
- Gliding with the VGS!
- Paintball shooting!
- Took part in a Camp Scavanger Hunt!
- Have an amazing time and so much more!

Thank you to the hard work of the Staff for tirelessly putting all of this together in such short time. The challenges they faced were great but they managed to get around it and thank you to our cadets for representing us amazingly!

⭐️SNCO course ⭐️

Recently, two of our cadets took part in the Wing SNCO course.

They took part in several challenging activities over the weekend, which included:

• Uniform inspections.
• Assessments on Sqn planning and ability to teach.
• Lessons designed to develop their skills.

The cadets did extremely well and brought pride to our Sqn. Thank you to all the staff who made the course possible and gave the cadets an opportunity to develop their skills.

🎨 St Helens Colour Run 🎨

Recently, several of our cadets stepped up to support St Helens Council at this year’s Colour Run, bringing energy, teamwork, and plenty of paint.

What our cadets got stuck into:
- Moved and set up paint and equipment across the course.
- Helped shower participants in colour as they ran past.
- Represented the Corps with enthusiasm, professionalism, and brilliant teamwork.

A huge thank you to St Helens Council for inviting us to assist, and to our dedicated staff for making opportunities like this possible. Most of all — well done to our cadets and every participant who made the day vibrant, positive, and unforgettable.
