St Columb Library is very much a community place where we welcome everyone. No one needs to feel lonely. We are not just a library so why not pop in for a cuppa, a chat, to meet others or to read the paper. We look forward to seeing you

It's Loneliness Awareness Week, and we're celebrating libraries as places of connection, community and belonging.
Need somewhere warm to sit? A friendly face? A new hobby? A local group to join?

And if you're reading this you're probably already a fan of the library, so we want your help to spread the word. Tell a friend, a neighbour, a family member, or someone new to the area that libraries are open to everyone. Because sometimes the smallest invitation can make the biggest difference.
