Love this action shot of the popcorn maker. Apparently such a hit at book club last night the loan has been extended for the weekend! Popcorn is a great low fat snack, and this machine just pops it with air. Add toppings if you want or eat it naked, what you do in your own home is up to you! Great for parties, book club, girls night in, family film night, the reasons to eat popcorn are endless and it’s so easy, and cheap, to make.

The ever popular chocolate fountain is waiting to be hired for parties. It had a bit of a rest over summer so we had to test it to make sure it was still working! The good news is it is and it was delicious. We just used dark chocolate bars and dipped raspberries, strawberries and marshmallows. Popular for parties so if you have a date in mind you can reserve in advance at ShareStAlbans.org. We also have a popcorn maker, ice cream maker, karaoke machine and lots of other things to make the perfect party

8.45am and it’s already roasting hot. This is why during the summer we may advertise longer opening times but we would really appreciate you coming as soon as we open as it’s too hot to get on with chores once we’ve lifted the loans out and then have to put stuff back in. Thank you for your understanding. This means we will be asking you to come at 8.30am on a Saturday and 6pm on a Monday. We are volunteer led and this makes such a difference to our volunteers 💚

Sonya is tidying the garage today, trust us it needs doing! First thing to sort is the tool holder, we are so grateful to Hatfield Men’s Shed for making this for us. This post is a reminder that there are loads of wonderful items that need reserving early because they are popular for only a few weeks, Including leaf vacuums and fruit picker.
