Platinum Jubilee Update: We will be holding one event at the Village Hall on Thursday 2nd June starting at 6pm. We will start with a treasure hunt for all ages around the village and time capsule filling from 6pm, followed by food and drink from 7pm, heading a short distance across the road at 9.30pm to light a beacon for 9.45pm.

What do we need help with:
Cooking sausages! We have a grant to purchase some sausages for everyone and Bob is going to set up some gas burners to cook them on. Would anyone be prepared to help Bob cook some sausages?
Food. I will be coordinating a list of salads, quiches and desserts. If you can make a dish or two please let me know what you are able to make.
Drink. Please bring a bottle or two! We have a grant which will purchase Prosecco for a toast, plus some leftover beer from the Dudd pub events that we can offer out to everyone, otherwise it's a bring your own event.
Childrens ideas for the time capsule. If your child would like to be involved in the time capsule which will be buried in the garden please let Claire Tancell know.
Bugle or brass players. If anyone plays a musical instrument and would like to play the official 'Majesty' piece to fanfare the lighting of the Beacon please let me know.
Volunteers for hall set up and clear up. Can anyone help set up the hall from 5pm on the day and clear up on the Friday morning at around 10am? Please let me know.
If you would like to be involved in any of the above please contact me via messenger or email the village hall email [email protected].
