We had the pleasurenof having Clare Goodall - Storyteller and Musician and her eccentric way of story telling - The pied piper of Hamlin was the story of today.

We ended the seasion with balloon modelling and a few sing along songs we all know well!

✨️ Earlier in the week Reynolds & Turner suite residents spent the afternoon looking through the seaside reminiscing box from Saffron Walden Museum & Castle Grounds.

🪣 The box was full of interesting artefacts including postcards, buckets, sticks of rock, shells and much more! This sparked lots of memories and residents reminisced about seaside towns they had visited throughout the years.

Alongside this, residents engaged in seaside themed colouring, wordsearches and puzzles 🧩

It was a lovely afternoon.

Sarah, Paul & John spent some lovely time together working on a puzzle. 🧩❤️

These simple moments are so special. Activities like this help to build connections, encourage conversation and keep our residents engaged and mentally stimulated.

It’s wonderful to see them working together, sharing the experience and enjoying each other’s company. 🥰

✨☕ Margaret & Beryl’s trip into town ✨

Margaret and Beryl enjoyed a lovely little trip into town this morning for coffee and cake! ☕🍰

Both ladies were so happy and excited to have a little mooch around, taking in the surroundings and making the most of the beautiful weather. 🌸☀️

They then tucked into a delicious slice of cake and a lovely hot drink at on King Street. 😋

These little outings are so rewarding, and seeing the smiles on their faces makes it all worthwhile! ❤️

🎤 This morning residents took part in a fun music quiz. Team B (The Bodgers) which consisted of Ted, Laurel, Bernie, Phyllis & Pam, did not stand a chance against Team A (The Codgers) as they had mastermind Russell on their team who was on fire!! 🔥

When we finished the quiz we were all in a musical mood so we got the karaoke machine out and sang our hearts out!

It was a fun morning, enjoyed by all who attended 😀

Parma chose a box of chocolates as her prize, Ferrero Rosher to be precise 😋 and Ted chose a voucher for fish and chips 🍟!
