Daffodils
The children had a lovely morning exploring water play while developing their mathematical language skills. They used words such as empty, full, fill, and more as they poured water between different containers.
The children showed curiosity and engagement as they experimented with capacity, noticing changes as containers became full or empty. They were encouraged to describe what they were doing, helping to build both their mathematical understanding and communication skills.
During the activity, we also discussed the importance of recycling, particularly plastic bottles, and how this helps to protect sea animals.
