📣 JOHN PARKES for Western Springs 📣

We are proud to announce JOHN PARKES as our candidate for Western Springs in the upcoming elections on May 7th! 🇬🇧

A message from John:

As a lifelong resident of Rugeley, I believe our town has been let down by the current local administration, and the time for change has come. On 7th May, you have the opportunity to use your vote, one that Labour sought to take away from you, and support a renewed approach that puts Rugeley first. I am standing to bring fresh energy, transparency, accountability, and to be a strong voice for our community, a voice that has sadly been missing for decades.

I am the son of a Lea Hall miner and grew up on the Pear Tree Estate. Like many families, we faced hardship, particularly during the Miners’ Strike, which taught me early on the value of hard work and responsibility. I was educated locally at Hagley Park School and have carried a strong work ethic throughout more than 45 years of my working life. After ill health forced my early retirement, I have dedicated my time to the community of the town I love. Like you, I want the very best for Rugeley, and with your support, I would like to deliver on that promise.

For the past two years, I have served on Rugeley Town Council, representing Western Springs, working tirelessly for the town I care deeply about. For far too long, Rugeley has been overlooked compared to surrounding areas, and I believe our residents deserve better representation. I am not afraid to speak up when others remain silent, because Rugeley deserves to be heard.

If elected to the District Council, I will continue to champion Rugeley with the same commitment and determination I have shown on the Town Council. My priorities include:
• Improving community safety through closer collaboration with local policing teams
• Supporting Rugeley town centre
• Strengthening transparency in local government.

Most importantly, I am committed to listening. I welcome your ideas, concerns, and views, because meaningful change begins with open and honest conversation. My aim is to put the needs of Rugeley and Cannock Chase residents at the heart of every decision.

Vote for change.
Vote Reform UK.
Vote John Parkes, Western Springs.

Don’t forget to vote for JOHN PARKES and Reform UK on May 7th 🗳️

🗳️Vote Reform in Cannock Chase🗳️

It’s been a pleasure to go down to Cannock Chase today to join up with Cllr Rhys Mandry, Joseph Boam UK, Matthew Caton For Hemsworth and the Reform UK Cannock Chase team as we hit the doors to push forward the positive message Reform UK has for local residents.

It’s time to move on from the failing Labour administration, reject the fantasy politics of the Greens and vote Reform.

It’s time for a real local champion to take the helm who understands the concerns of local people and will deliver on their priorities.
