Hob Hill CE/Methodist - VC Primary School Hob Hill CE/Methodist (VC) Primary School is a co-educational day school. We cater for pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 years in the Brereton area.

Hob Hill Church of England/Methodist (VC) Primary School is a co-educational day school. We cater for pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 years and serve mainly the Brereton area, though some pupils travel from outside our notional catchment area. We currently have 213 full-time pupils and 24 part-time nursery pupils on role (January 2016). Situated on the edge of Rugeley, we are fortunate to have

beautiful surroundings; grazing sheep and cattle can often be seen in adjoining fields! We have extensive school grounds, including a sizeable playground with picnic seating, large playing fields, allotments and a ‘wild’ wooded area used for our Forest Schools project. There are also separate outdoor facilities for our Nursery and Reception classes to utilise throughout the school day. At Hob Hill we are very proud of our partnership with not just one, but two local Churches. As Staffordshire’s only combined Church of England and Methodist school, we have the unique opportunity to draw on the traditions and support of both St. Michael’s Church and the Brereton Methodist Chapel. The ministers and other members of both church communities visit the school regularly, sharing in collective worship, supporting learning in Religious Education lessons and representing the churches on the school’s governing body.

🎓✨ That’s a wrap for our incredible Year 6! ✨🎓

What a journey it’s been! From their very first days at primary school to the confident, kind and resilient young people they are today, we’ve loved watching each and every one of them grow.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve achieved and all the memories we’ve made together. As they take their next exciting step to secondary school, we wish them every success, happiness and adventure that lies ahead.

Keep believing in yourselves, dream big, work hard and never forget that you’ll always be part of our school family. 💚 🦉

The Hob Hill School PTFA would love to invite parents and carers to a fun Paint & Sip evening at school! 🎨🍷

It’s a chance for us to thank our lovely volunteers for all their support, and also welcome anyone who may be interested in joining or helping out in the future.

There’s no big commitment expected at all - even small bits of help make a huge difference. We’re a friendly, relaxed group and it’s a great way to meet other parents while supporting the school community.

No painting experience needed - just come along for a fun evening and a chat!
