We would love to see some new babies and non-walkers for our fun 'Baby Bounce and Rhyme' session every Monday at Rubery Library from 10.30am-11.00am. It's a great chance to bond, develop your child's language skills and socialise. Plus there are even bubbles and toys. We'd love to see you there. Don't forget this is the LAST WEEK of the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge 📚🏆🌞 If you haven't completed the challenge yet, you still have time! Come into the library this week, tell us about your books 📖, collect your prizes 🎶, and you'll get an invitation to this year's medal ceremony 🏅; where we'll have a load of fun things for you to do!

Don't forget you can only let us know about 2 books per visit, so plan ahead if you have more than 2 left in the challenge. If you haven't even told us about your first book, you can still finish this week within 3 visits! 🥳🎉

The first Saturday of September is this week, along with the next meeting of Loose Women at Rubery Library! 💃🤩

No need to book, if you're a woman over the age of 18 and you have libraries unlocked, you can just come along. If you need to sign up for libraries unlocked, pop in earlier in our week during our opening times and chat to one of our librarians to get your induction.
