"14 intrepid souls turned up for the Tree Walk this morning, despite pouring rain and forecast strong winds. We were rewarded when the sun came out 30 minutes in when we were looking at a Copper Beech. Thank you to David Carey for a very interesting walk."
Have you seen the beautiful wildflowers by the cafe?

Join David Carey for a Tree Walk in the Park on 6 June at 10.30 starting by the Cafe.

Lots of new arrivals in the Park. 2 further sets of goslings on the island so the first time in many years we have 3 sets of goslings. Canada geese are great parents and share the care with other geese. Sometimes you just want the warmth of your Mum 😍😍

Our first Egyptian goslings. Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead around the lake as the parents are very possessive. I’m sure they would love bags of seeds, you can buy in the cafe. 😍πŸͺΏπŸ€

A big thank you to the volunteer at Folly Wildlife Rescue who spent the afternoon rescuing 2 tiny ducklings who had fallen from the cascade. After time the mother was traced and the ducklings were reunited with her and her other 10 ducklings. As breeding season is in full swing, please keep an eye on our precious wildlife. Thank you πŸ™πŸΌ
