The truck will be parked in the Village Hall car park, 8am to 8:45am.

You can take along small, broken or unwanted items that are not collected at the
kerbside.

There are many charities that will take second-hand items, for free. Please consider
these to give your unwanted items a new home, rather than disposing of them.

⚠️ NOTICE TO OWNER OF VESSEL (ABANDONED BOAT) ⚠️

East Donyland Parish Council has issued a formal notice regarding a vessel (owner unknown) currently located at Lion Quay.

The vessel has been left unattended and moored at Council quays without ongoing permission, in breach of mooring regulations. Repeated attempts to contact the owner or any representative have received no response.

📌 IMPORTANT:
The owner must contact East Donyland Parish Council within 28 days of 16 April 2026 to arrange removal of the vessel and settle any outstanding mooring charges and reasonable associated costs.

Failure to do so may result in the vessel being treated as abandoned, with the Council taking steps to remove, store, and dispose of it in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.

Please share if this may help identify the owner.

🚨 Vandalism on the Recreation Ground 🚨

We’re disappointed to report that a waste bin on the recreation ground has been destroyed by fire. This marks the third bin set alight in the past three years.

Not only is this deeply frustrating, but it also comes at a cost to our community. These bins are expensive to replace—and ultimately, it is your money that is being used to fund these repairs.

If anyone has any information about this incident, please report it to the police or contact us directly.

Let’s work together to protect and take pride in our shared spaces. 🌳
