โญ Action for Happiness and Self Care September โญ

Weโ€™re excited to bring Action for Happiness to our community this month!

Action for Happiness is a global movement dedicated to creating a happier, kinder society. To kick off Self-Care September, theyโ€™ve put together a daily calendar packed with simple, practical actions to help us prioritise our mental health, build resilience, and treat ourselves with a little extra kindness.

Here are a few gentle reminders from this monthโ€™s calendar to try out in your daily routine:
๐Ÿฉท Start Small: Notice the things you do well, however small.
๐Ÿงก Prioritize Rest: Give yourself permission to say 'no' and allow yourself to pause when things get busy.
๐Ÿ’› Get Moving: Step outside, get active, and give your body and mind a natural boost.
๐Ÿฉต Be Kind to Yourself: Aim to be good enough rather than perfect, and rememberโ€”itโ€™s completely ok not to be ok.

Want to get involved and find out more?

๐Ÿ“ฒ Download the App / Calendar: Get daily prompts directly on your phone or print out the monthly calendar at actionforhappiness.org.
๐Ÿค Join the Movement: Explore free online courses, local groups, and expert talks to build long-term happiness habits at actionforhappiness.org/take-action

Letโ€™s support each other and make Rothwell a happier, healthier place to live. Which self-care step are you trying today? โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน
