The Personnel at Rothes Community Fire Station would like to thank you all within the Craigellachie Community and the Rothes Community for your amazing generosity in your donations while we were out collecting for the Fire Fighters Charity over the past two evenings. Who can believe its the time of year again🧑‍🎄🎄

Santa will be joining Rothes crew of their tour with the Fire Appliance in Craigellachie on Friday 19th Dec, starting around 1800.
Then we'll be touring around Rothes on Saturday 20th starting around 1600.
We are raising funds for The Fire Fighters Charity and spread plenty Christmas cheer to you all. If you hear us come out and give us a wave👋🏻 and if you're able to give a donation.

Cheers to 30 years🥳

Last night SC Weston came along to present Crew Commander Rob Nicol with his 30 years of service certificate and badge.

What an incredible commitment to our community. From us all, a huge thank you to Rob, his family and employers for being such a crucial part of our station and community!

After all the wildfires over the past month with this great weather we've been having.
We still have to be very careful with setting fires due to areas still being very dry.

We have had following picture brought to our attention from just above the Rothes Golf Course near to the where all the bird feeders are.

Please can we ask everyone young and old to think about making camp fires and small fires for the fun of it as they can get out of hand very quickly and you could get very badly injured.

Over the weekend, firefighters have been working tirelessly with estate workers to control multiple large fires across the area. Our resources are stretched, and conditions remain extremely dangerous.

⚠️ We urgently ask the public not to light any fires, including campfires, disposable BBQs or rubbish fires.

🔥 Even small fires can spread quickly and put lives, the environment, wildlife, property and our crews at risk.

Help us protect our community and don’t light fires🔥❌

✅ Please stay alert for official fire warnings and restrictions in your area.

✅ Report any sign of fire immediately by dialing 999 and asking for the Fire Service.
