Neighbourhood Development Plans (NDPs) give communities substantial influence over future development with local-level vision for the future, objectives and planning policies. We are preparing our own NDP here in Ross. Our Plan will add further detail to the Herefordshire Local Plan, a document which guides development in the district over the next 20 years. The aim of the Neighbourhood Plan team is to engage widely with individuals and groups in Ross in the production of a plan that will properly reflect local aspirations. Only local knowledge, with local understanding of challenges and opportunities for Ross and the local area can inform and shape a truly local Plan.
