🌿 A message from Sir Harold Hillier Gardens 🌿
Following recent reports about the approved development plans at Hillier Brentry Nurseries in Ampfield, we'd like to clarify that Sir Harold Hillier Gardens is an independent registered charity, separate from the commercial Hillier Nurseries business.
While we share a proud heritage and the Hillier name, we are not involved in the planning application or development proposals. Our focus remains on horticulture, conservation, education and wellbeing, with every visit, membership and donation supporting our charitable work.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Gardens and help us protect Sir Harold Hillier's legacy for future generations. 💚

One of the largest species of 'Pineapple Flower', Eucomis pallidiflora ssp. pole-evansii produces spectacular flower spikes topped with a leafy crown, giving it its distinctive pineapple-like appearance.⭐🍍
