🚨🚒We are recruiting at Romsey fire station for on call firefighters 🚨🚒

Join a dedicated team committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service pride ourselves on our professionalism, training and community involvement.
We are seeking enthusiastic and courageous individuals to join our team as On-Call Firefighters. In this role, you will respond to emergency calls such as Fire incidents, Rescue operations, Immediate Emergency medical care and community safety programs.

Crews from Romsey and Redbridge are currently in attendance at an RTC in Mainstone (nr Cromwell Arms), Romsey involving two vehicles.
The road is partially closed and there is a lot of traffic in the area. Please seek an alternative route where possible.

🌟A huge THANK YOU to our amazing community🌟

What an incredible Open Day we had on Sunday! We had hundreds of people tour through the station, explore our trucks, motorbikes, specialised vehicles, and enjoyed the BBQ, cake stall, kids’ activities, and more.

Thank you to everyone who came along, had fun, and joined in with Romsey Old Cadets ! We’re so grateful to be part of such a fantastic community!

🚨Romsey Fire Station Open Day, Sunday 21st September 10:00 - 15:00 🚨

Come and meet the Ambulance hazardous area response team (HART) who are specially-trained medics who provide lifesaving medical care in hazardous and challenging environments.

HART medics provide care and treatment in situations including (but not limited to):

➡Patients needing treatment at height or in confined spaces
➡Incidents in water
➡Patients ill or injured on unstable or difficult terrain
➡Hazardous materials incidents
➡CRBNe - Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive incidents
