Step back in time to Tudor times as you explore Eastgate House, Rochester this September.
One of the most striking buildings along Rochesterโs historic High Street, Eastgate House was built in 1590 during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I and was home to a wealthy family for five generations.
As you explore its maze of rooms and passageways you will discover a few facts (and maybe a few surprises) about the lives of those who lived within these walls many centuries ago.
Secrets of the Tudor Household is on display on Sat 12, Sun 13, Sat 19, Sun 20 and Sat 26 Sep. Opening times are 10am to 5pm (last admissions 4.15pm) and thereโs no need to book.
