Last week we had lots of fun celebrating St George’s Day and Earth Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🌍
For St George’s Day, the children enjoyed getting creative by making their own dragons – exploring colours and textures. We also enjoyed listening some stories around George and the dragon.
For Earth Day, we took our learning outdoors during forest school, where the children worked together to create a beautiful “Earth” using natural materials like leaves, flowers, and sticks. It was a lovely hands-on way to explore nature and the world around us.
Through these activities, the children developed their creativity, fine motor skills, and early understanding of the world. They also enjoyed sensory play, teamwork, and being out in the fresh air – all while having lots of fun!
A wonderful week full of learning through play 💚

Big Happy Birthday wishes today to Mia 🎉🎂🎈 I remember holding you as a little newborn and now its a privilege to watch you grow into the cheeky, confident and full-of-personality little girl you are today. You light up every room with your smile and it’s a pleasure watching you grow and learn. We hope you enjoyed your special day 🌟

Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely walk through the Fairy Dell at Stubbylee Park. The children had a wonderful time exploring the fairy houses and keeping a close eye out to see if they could spot any fairies! 🧚‍♀️🧚🧚‍♂️
It’s such a magical and beautiful place to visit, sparking imagination and curiosity in a calm and natural setting ✨

We had such a fabulous time at the farm! The children loved seeing all the animals and their babies, and they really enjoyed feeding them too. One of the highlights was the tractor ride to feed the donkeys 🚜

It was a fantastic hands-on experience, helping the children recognise animals they’ve seen in books, and hear the different sounds they make in real life. The sheep definitely made us all jump—they were so loud! 🐑

A fun and memorable day for everyone! 🐴🐮🐖🐏

Hard to believe this was only last week and we were needing suncream, compared to the weather today! A lovely trip out to Diggle to do the scarecrow trail. Disney theme this year and we were excited to see some of our favourite characters 😊 and of course we had to have an ice cream from Grandpa Greenes whilst we were there 🍦
