Something a bit different for the summer holidays at the National Tramway Museum 🚋🔍

Children’s Outdoor Theatre – Sherlock Holmes and the Crich Conundrum is coming to Crich Tramway Village this August, with a fun family-friendly promenade performance through the woodland walk.

Performed by Notice this Notice Theatre Group, the 30-minute shows take place several times daily and are included with normal admission — no separate booking needed.

Sounds like a brilliant way to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays while enjoying one of Derbyshire’s best-loved attractions.

The National Tramway Museum has announced a major “Save the Date” for Saturday 12th September 2026, when it plans to officially launch its new Access Tram during Tram Weekend.

The project will make heritage tram travel more accessible, with the converted Blackpool tram designed to carry wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility.
