🎃 Halloween at Moors Valley Illuminated Trail is back for 2026!

With new installations and characters, you’ll find lots of spooky things happening along the trail. Interact with the characters if you dare and increase the fun factor even further!

This year there is a demon lurking somewhere in the woods and there are signs that evil rituals have awakened something that really shouldn’t have been disturbed. What will you discover along the way? 👀

Our historic bunker will be open to visitors on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 20 September, offering rare access to a unique part of Moors Valley's history.

Come along to explore the site, chat with our volunteers, and learn how the bunker helped protect the area during wartime.

Due to high demand, our main car park was full and temporarily closed but it re-opened at 2pm.

People with a pre-booked activity such as Go Ape or Golf could show their booking confirmation to the rangers at the gate to gain access.

Make the most of the end of summer with cycling coaching that will get your little explorers out into the forest 🌲

Sessions will focus on creating a supportive, engaging environment where kids can progress at their own pace - from their very first ride to more advanced trail and bike park skills.

Ready for a bank holiday adventure? ☀️🌲

If you're joining us over the long weekend, take a look at our rangers' top tips to make the most of your visit ⬇️

🕤 Arrive before 10.30am or after 2pm to avoid our busiest times

🌦️The forecast is looking a little mixed, so come prepared for whatever the weather brings. Waterproofs, sturdy footwear and a refillable water bottle are always a good idea. You can refill using our water refill station at the Visitor Centre

🌳 Need to dodge a shower? Take cover beneath the trees, relax in one of our forest shelters, or cool off under the covered area at Adventure Valley

🔥 Help us protect the forest by leaving all barbecues, fire pits and open flames at home

⛺ Please note that tents, gazebos and other pop-up shelters aren't permitted on site

Rain or shine, there's plenty to discover, so prepare for a weekend filled with fresh air, family fun and forest adventures 🌲✨
