What a stunning transformation this beautiful room has undergone over the winter and spring months.

The space has been completely reimagined with a hand-painted chinoiserie mural, bringing colour, character, and a new sense of life to one of the Manor's most charming rooms.

A huge thank you to Rosie Mennem for her exceptional craftsmanship and artistry. Every detail has been painted by hand, creating a room that feels both timeless and completely unique.

Come and see the Morning Room for yourself - the photos really don't do it justice. We're open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2pm–5pm, and house tours run throughout the afternoon. 🌷🌸

We’ve already welcomed a wonderful mix of weddings this year, with each couple bringing their own style and vision to the Manor. It’s always a pleasure to see the house and gardens transformed for such an important day.

IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨: Dog Show Cancelled!

Due to the high temperatures forecast for today, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Dog Show.

The welfare of the dogs must always come first, and with so many four-legged competitors and visitors expected to attend, we feel this is the most responsible decision.

We know many of you were looking forward to the event and we are incredibly disappointed to have to make this call. Thank you for your understanding and support.

A full refund will be available for all ticket holders. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your booking.

The gardens, house tours, Tea Room and Pavilion Shop will remain open as normal from 2pm–5pm, and we look forward to welcoming visitors for a relaxing afternoon at the Manor.

A reminder that the Dog Show on Monday is still going ahead, and with temperatures expected to be high, the wellbeing of our four-legged visitors is our top priority. 🤍🐾

There will be plenty of fresh water stations available throughout the grounds, as well as lots of shaded areas for dogs and their owners to take a break from the sunshine. We’ll also have delicious doggy ice cream from Pawbeck and human ice cream from Purbeck to help everyone stay cool.

We encourage all owners to keep an eye on their dogs throughout the day and make use of the shade and water available whenever needed.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your pups to what promises to be a wonderful day at Chenies Manor House. 🐾

Looking for an affordable family day out this half term? ☀️🐾

This Monday 25th at Chenies Manor we’re hosting our annual Dog Show. A relaxed day in the gardens with plenty to enjoy, from pizza and ice cream to brilliant entertainment throughout the afternoon.

With a warm day expected there will be plenty of shade and water available for all dogs, competing or just coming along for the fun.

Do you think your dog has what it takes? 🤨🐾

Join us on 25th May for our annual Dog Show at Chenies, with classes including Fastest Bonio Eater, Gorgeous Gal, Handsome Fella, Best Rescue, Cutest Puppy, Best Trick, and even a special prize for the most distinguished veteran.

Of course, you’re more than welcome to try and win… but Ziggy and Tarka might have something to say about that 🤭🐶 Although it did take around 30 minutes and a generous amount of treats to convince them both to sit still for these photos 😅

The Tea Room will also be open throughout the day serving homemade cakes and hot drinks - the perfect excuse for a day out in the gardens.
