As autumn settles over the Manor, we're approaching our final opening days before closing for the winter.

If you've been meaning to visit, now is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the historic house, wander through our beautiful gardens and finish your afternoon with a little something from our Tea Rooms. ☕

There's still time to experience Chenies before we close our doors for the season, and we'd love to see you!

Some VERY intense competition took place at the Manor yesterday… 🐾🏆

With an exceptionally strong field of handsome fellas, gorgeous girls, clever tricks and very enthusiastic treat-eaters, our judges certainly had their work cut out for them. 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Chenies Manor Dog Show - we absolutely loved seeing so many of you (and, more importantly, your dogs) turn out for the afternoon.

Congratulations to all of our winners and competitors, although we think it’s fair to say every dog was robbed of first place in one category or another. 🐶🤍

And a big thank you to Jamie Pound Dog Training for helping us make the day happen!

Today is the day! 🐾🏆

We hope to see lots of you (and your four-legged friends!) at the Chenies Manor Dog Show this afternoon, held in conjunction with Jamie Pound Dog Training! 🐶🤍

Gates open at 1pm, with Weirdough Pizza and Frank’s Coffee ready and waiting 🍕☕️ before the Dog Show gets underway at 2pm!

Come along, explore the gardens, grab something delicious and join us for an afternoon of canine fun.

There’s something a little magical about the Medic Garden at this time of year… 🌿✨

Filled with herbs and plants traditionally grown for their healing properties, it feels like one of Chenies’ most enchanting little corners. 🍂🪄

Make a day of the Chenies Manor Dog Show! 🐾

Our gates open from 1pm, giving you plenty of time to explore our award-winning gardens, enjoy afternoon tea, or grab something delicious from Weirdough Pizza and Frank’s Coffee, who’ll both be joining us for the day. 🍕☕️

And why not make even more of your visit? Chenies is surrounded by some beautiful countryside walks, perfect for stretching those four legs and taking in the Chiltern Hills at their best. 🐕🥾🌳

Then head back to the Manor for the main event, with the Dog Show commencing at 2pm run by Jamie Pound Dog Training and plenty of fun classes to enter or simply enjoy from the sidelines! 🏆

The Dog Show is back! 🐾🏆

Join us at Chenies for a day dedicated to our four-legged visitors, with plenty of fun classes to enter - from Handsome Fella and Gorgeous Gal to Best Rescue, Best Trick and Fastest Bonio Eater! 🐶

Weirddough Pizza and Frank’s Coffee will be joining us from 1pm, with the Dog Show commencing at 2pm.

Same garden, very different season… 💫

After months of waiting, planting and tending, the Sunken Garden has transformed once again, with the dahlias now filling the borders with colour.

It’s one of those parts of Chenies that changes completely throughout the year, and right now it’s looking rather special.

Make sure to visit before the gardens begin to change again as we shift into autumn. 🍂

A Day of Dahlias, Tudors & a Little British Weather 🌸

What a fantastic day we had at our Dahlia Festival!

The weather may have kept us guessing, but it certainly didn’t keep you away. We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many of you exploring the gardens and enjoying the dahlias in full bloom.

A special thank you to The Tudor Players and instrumentalists for joining us and bringing a little Tudor England back to Chenies for the afternoon. 👑

And, of course, thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such a success. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! 💫
