The Urdd's Fund for All gives every child in Wales the opportunity to enjoy a summer holiday, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

🌞This year, Rhyl Town Council Cyngor Tref Y Rhyl has provided funding to give five Rhyl children/young people the chance to enjoy a much-needed break at an Urdd camp.
‼There are just a few days left to submit your application to the Urdd. Deadline is May 30.

We are pleased to introduce the new mayor and deputy mayor for Rhyl.

Cllr Joan Butterfield has been elected mayor for 2026/2027. Cllr Will Price is deputy mayor. It is the third time Cllr Butterfield, whose theme and focus for the year will be community cohesion, has held the position.

We wish Cllr Butterfield and Cllr Price well in their roles.

All at Rhyl Town Council Cyngor Tref Y Rhyl are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs Jean Frost. In 2022, the council awarded Mrs Frost the honour of Freedom of the Town, in recognition of her dedication to Rhyl and the RNLI. Mrs Frost was one of few to be given the honorary title. A touching and much-deserved tribute from RNLI Rhyl is below. Our thoughts are with Mrs Frost's family, friends, and fellow volunteers.

Penwythnos cofiadwy! The choir enjoyed a memorable weekend with our friends from Beauvais. The visiting choir were delightful company, and we'd like to thank all those who supported both the concerts and for giving our guests a warm and friendly reception...diolch!

The Urdd's Fund for All gives every child in Wales the opportunity to enjoy a summer holiday, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

🌞This year, Rhyl Town Council Cyngor Tref Y Rhyl has provided funding to give five Rhyl children/young people the chance to enjoy a much-needed break at an Urdd camp.

Parents, carers, or teachers can apply to the fund to pay for a holiday at one of the Urdd's summer camps for a child or young person who comes from a low-income household.
