In the wake of the tragic helicopter incident in Devon on Wednesday, and on behalf of the whole force at RAF Valley, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families, friends and colleagues of the Royal Navy Personnel who have so sadly lost their lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this profoundly difficult time.

Rant time lol (not really). But here goes a massive and I mean massive charity. Posted Assisted case closed. They put a veteran and his family up for two weeks then did what lots do. Sent them our way with advise sorry funding exhausted* *I guess those marble monuments needed cleaning. We or rather all of you who donate a fiver do a three peaks challenge a fun run or even a quiz night . Take up the challenge and get them into permanent accommodation. What wears me out is these guys then brag about success when they actually due to heavy administration and basically to many cooks abandoned these people making it easier for a case worker to push them our way rather than fighting for the funds .They all work under performance and cost savings figures pass over to a tiny charity ** sots who honestly we are hanging in there by our finger nails but hanging in there we are .Can sort the family out which we have. I am just pi**ed off to see constantly how amazing they think they are yet not once have they ever thought maybe we give those poor bastards a payment after all they are doing the job we pretend to do.Sorry rant over ### Dan

We must never forget the sacrifices of those brave young men on D Day we must also hold to account any politicians who seek to betray the sacrifices of that day and of the days since where the best of the best give and have given everything so you can sleep sound in your beds we will never forget and we will remember them
