What a fantastic day at our Surf Therapy session! 🌊☀️
For many of the men joining us, this was their very first experience of surfing. By the end of the session, many of the group were successfully riding waves, and enjoying the simple joy of being active in the sea.

Nick from Gecko Surf School guided everyone through the basics, from warm-up exercises and beach safety to carrying a surfboard, entering the water confidently, and catching those first waves.

Surf therapy focuses on building confidence, connecting with others, improving wellbeing, and discovering what you're capable of when you give something new a try.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a positive, uplifting session. We can't wait to do it again.

If you’d like to take part in future sessions, keep an eye on our page or get in touch.
