Closing Statement – Twins of Evil
Twins of Evil Attractions/Productions has been my life, my passion, my everything.
It was my escape when I was low, my spark when I was inspired, and the world where I poured every ounce of my creativity. I lived, breathed, and dreamt of new mazes, new contraptions, new ways to make people scream and laugh in equal measure.
From the start, it was never about profit. That’s why our ticket prices were so low — every single penny went back into the building and the experience. The beautiful Ebenezer Chapel hosted us for two incredible years. In that time, over 800 people walked through its doors, a chapel that had been silent for almost 40 years. We replaced floors, rewired electrics, fought through fire codes and listed-building regulations — all funded out of my own pocket. My pockets emptied quickly, but I did it for the love of the haunt industry.
One of the proudest moments of my life was receiving a ScareCON Scar Award, something I fought tooth and nail for. That year, my mum passed away — but I know she would have been so proud to see me walk up and accept that award.
For three years we were the only Halloween event in South Wales. Now, with so many new and amazing attractions growing in the area, I can no longer compete alone. The big names have the budgets I don’t, and I’ve reached the point where I can’t keep funding it by myself.
But what a ride it’s been. I want to thank every single person who walked through our doors, supported us, believed in me, or just came along for the scare. Twins of Evil will always be the achievement I hold closest to my heart — my blood, sweat, tears, and dreams made real.
This is the end of Twins of Evil — but not the end of me. Bigger things are coming, and I carry every scream, every laugh, and every memory forward into what comes next.
