The comfort of compassionate care 💙
For people receiving care at home, and for the families supporting them, knowing that someone is there with kindness, dignity, and compassion can bring great comfort.
Recently, we received a heartfelt message from a family whose mum was supported by the Corserv Care team during the final weeks of her life.
They told us how much they valued the care she received during this time, describing the team as: "Amazing, kind, patient, and skilled."
They also shared how meaningful it was to know that, in her final hours, she was comfortable, cared for, and treated with dignity: "For her to be clean and comfortable when she left was a blessing, and down to your team."
And for the family themselves, the help and reassurance provided by the wider team made a lasting difference: "The support, to me and also my mum at the time, was so invaluable. I really felt supported."
These words are a powerful reminder of what compassionate care can mean: not only providing practical support but also helping people and their families feel heard and cared for when it matters most.
We're incredibly proud of the teams who provide this support in homes and across communities in Cornwall every day.
