🍂✨ Another fun-filled week at 100 Acrewood Preschool! ✨🍂

We’ve had lots of lovely activities out this week, keeping little hands busy and imaginations running wild! 🥰

🧚‍♀️ Fairies and unicorns have been inspiring some magical play.

🚗 Cars and ramps have kept us busy, exploring speed, movement and how far our cars can travel!

🎃 We explored our winter soup water play with pumpkins, enjoying lots of splashing, pouring and filling.

🍫 Our chocolate playdough was a big hit, with leaf cutters, acorns and conkers to explore and create with. 🍁

🐾 Paw Patrol came out for some exciting rescue adventures!

🌳 And just look at our amazing 100 Acrewood display board! We’ve brought our very own woodland to life with beautiful woodland animals, celebrating our preschool and all our wonderful adventures 🦊🦔🐿️

Another wonderful week full of exploring, creating, learning and lots of fun! 💚🍂

Don’t forget we have no broken up for half term and we will return on Monday 2nd November for a Halloween dress up 🎃

We’ve had lots of fun exploring, creating and learning together this week 😊

🚀 Space Week – We had an out-of-this-world time celebrating Space Week! The children made their own space rockets and enjoyed imaginative play with toy rockets, spacemen and aliens. 👨‍🚀👽 We also watched a video to discover the different planets in our amazing solar system! 🪐🌙

🧲 Magnetic Tiles – The children enjoyed building, creating and using their imaginations to see what they could make!

🍂 Autumn Sensory Play – We explored conkers, water and leaves, using our tea set for lots of lovely imaginative play. 🍃☕️

🥕 Cooking Up a Treat! – We made our very own vegetable soup! The children helped cut the vegetables and were so proud to enjoy a delicious cup of soup together. 🥣😋

✨ Glitter Galaxy Mark Making – We had lots of fun making marks, exploring textures and getting creative with our sparkly galaxy-inspired activity! 🌌🎨

It’s been wonderful seeing the children’s curiosity, creativity and confidence grow through all these exciting activities. So much learning, fun and exploring! 💫❤️

🏴‍☠️🧜‍♀️ What a fun-filled week at preschool! 🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️

We’ve been busy learning, exploring and getting creative through lots of exciting activities! 🌟

🏴‍☠️ We set sail on some pirate adventures, using our imaginations to explore and play.

🧜‍♀️💦 Our mermaids made a splash in the water play, encouraging lots of sensory exploration and imaginative play.

✂️🍃 We practised our scissor skills by cutting leaves, helping to develop those all-important fine motor skills.

👷‍♀️🧱 Our builders were busy with tool boxes, bricks and hard hats, creating and constructing together.

🧩 We had lots of fun building and creating with Stickle Bricks.

🌯🥙 For our healthy snack, we cut up tortillas and baked them — a lovely opportunity to develop independence and talk about healthy choices.

💃🎶 And a big thank you to Lily from Kicks Dance Reigate & Redhill who taught us all about our opposites through dance and movement! We had so much fun learning while keeping active. 🕺⬆️⬇️

🍂🌰 A Little Conker Adventure! 🌰🍂

This afternoon, we headed out on a little adventure to see what treasures we could find! 🥰

Holding hands and walking together, we practised our road safety skills, remembering to wait for the green man before crossing safely. 🚦🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Once we arrived, the children had so much fun searching high and low for conkers, and we certainly found plenty! 🌰🍂 Our little explorers returned with a big bag full of conkers 😊

🌸 What a lovely week we’ve had in preschool! 🌸

We’ve been busy exploring, playing and learning through lots of different activities, with plenty of opportunities for imaginative and sensory play. 💕

🦖 Our dinosaurs have been very popular this week! The children enjoyed creating their own little dinosaur adventures and using their imaginations during small-world play.

🚒 We’ve also had lots of fire engines and police cars out, which led to some lovely imaginative play and lots of conversations about the people who help us in our community. 👮‍♀️🚒

🌻 Our tea set and sunflowers encouraged some wonderful pretend play, with lots of cups of tea being served! ☕️

🏠 The dolls house was another favourite, giving the children lots of opportunities to act out familiar experiences and create their own stories.

🎨 We got creative with playdough, using dinosaur rollers, stones and dinosaur cutters. The children loved rolling, pressing and cutting the playdough, strengthening those little hands and fingers as they played. 🦖

🧵 We spent some time threading, helping to develop concentration, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

🌾 We also explored mark making in flour using paint brushes. The children enjoyed making their own lines, shapes and patterns and seeing the marks they could create in the flour. ✨

It’s been another busy and happy week, with lots of learning through play, creativity, imagination and exploration. 💕

✨ Another fun-filled week at preschool! ✨

We’ve had such a lovely week full of imaginative play, creativity, exploration and lots of smiles! 💕 Here’s a little look at what we’ve been getting up to…

🦁 Safari Adventures 🦒
Our magnetic tiles turned into wonderful safari enclosures, with lots of roaring, exploring and imaginative animal play! 🐘🐒

🐷 Down on the Farm 🐮
We used cereal to create our very own farm scenes with lots of different farm animals. A fantastic activity for developing those little fingers and encouraging creative play! 🌾

🚗 Car Wash Fun! 🧽
The children loved setting up their own car wash, washing, scrubbing and caring for the cars. Lots of lovely role play and turn-taking! ✨

🧚‍♀️ A Little Bit of Fairy Magic 🧚
We stepped into a magical fairy world and let our imaginations take over! There were lots of wonderful stories and adventures along the way. ✨🪄

🏡 Barbies & Dolls House 💕
Our dolls house has been a busy place this week! The children enjoyed caring for the dolls, creating little family stories and enjoying lots of imaginative role play together.

🍕 Pizza, Pizza! 👩‍🍳
We had lots of fun making our own pizzas! The children enjoyed getting hands-on, choosing their toppings and, of course, talking about how delicious they were! 😋🍕

💃 Welcome Back, Lily! 💕
We were so happy to welcome Lily back from Kicks Dance Reigate & Redhill. It was lovely to see her back with her friends and settling straight back into preschool life. 🥰

Welcome back, everyone 😊

What a lovely start to the new term. We’ve had a fantastic time welcoming back all our familiar faces and giving a big warm welcome to our new children who have joined us 🥰

We’ve also been busy making a few changes around the preschool, moving things around and creating some new spaces for the children to explore. It’s been lovely watching them discover the changes and settle back into their surroundings! ✨

We’ve been busy exploring, creating and having lots of fun, so busy that we haven’t taken lots of photos 😂

🚗 Zooming cars around and enjoying lots of imaginative play
🧡 Making colourful patterns and creations with playdough
🏡 Exploring the Happyland village and creating our own little stories
💦 Pouring, filling and exploring with our water play
🚜 Getting busy with the diggers in the cereal — lots of scooping, tipping and transporting!
🧲 Building, balancing and creating with our ever-popular magnetic tiles

It’s been wonderful seeing the children settling back into preschool, making new friends, exploring their surroundings and getting stuck into their play. 🌟

Here’s to a fun-filled term of learning, laughter, new friendships and lots of adventures! 💕✨

🎈☀️ That’s a wrap on another fantastic term! ☀️🎈

What a wonderful way to finish the year! We had so much fun celebrating together with our end-of-term party, delicious treats, and lots of balloons. Thank you Kicks Dance Reigate & Redhill🎉🍬🎈

A huge thank you to all of our amazing families for the thoughtful cards, generous gifts, and kind words. Your support and appreciation mean so much to our whole team.

While it’s always sad to say goodbye to the children who are moving on to their next adventure, we are so proud of everything they have achieved and wish them all the very best as they start their new chapter. We know you’ll all do amazing things! 💛

To all of our wonderful families, thank you for being part of another special year. We hope you have a happy, safe, and relaxing summer, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back next term! 🌞
