Woodrow Library Woodrow Library is part of the Worcestershire Libraries & Learning Service. Woodrow Library is in Woodrow Centre.

It is easily accessible by public transport (57 and 58 buses) and has free parking in the car park behind Woodrow Centre. The Adult section of the library has a good selection of fiction, large print and non-fiction books as well as a small local history and reference section and meeting space. Any titles not available here, can be reserved for a small charge. We have free Internet access on the 5

People's Network terminals available for public use, offering a wide range of facilities, including word processing and the internet. Please note there is a booking system in operation for these machines. CD-RW and headphones can be purchase from the library for use with these PCs. We hold Silver and also Job Seeker IT sessions- times and days to suit borrow. The Junior library is well stocked with board books for babies, picture books and easy readers for children learning to read, and story books for older children. Free internet access and word processing facilities are available within the Junior Library, to help children ( and their parents) with their homework projects. Children can receive 5 free photocopies or print-outs from the internet for homework topics. Did you know...
.. if you give us your email address you can receive updates about reserved items, promotions and information about what is happening at your local library. This means less paper usage so we're all doing our bit for the environment. If you don't already have an email address you can arrange an IT session with a member of staff who can help to create one for you. Please speak to a member of staff who will add your email address onto your record.

The Summer Reading Challenge continues after the school holidays and runs until Saturday 12th September. There are stickers to be collected and certificates to be earned, so if your little readers still have some books to do, there is plenty of time to come on down!

Our sister library in Redditch town centre is having a big birthday celebration this Saturday, 15th August. Pop in between 11am - 2pm for fun and crafts, and plenty of cake!

Redditch Library is 50 Years Old!! 🎂📚🎉

Back in January, the Redditch Library building turned 50 years old and this weekend we are holding a very special birthday party to celebrate.

Join us this Saturday, 15th August, from 11am-2pm for an Alice in Wonderland themed day. There will be crafts, activities, and plenty of cake, and we will be singing 'happy birthday' at 1pm. Hope to see you there! 🎁📖🎈
