Redditch Library offers the following services:
• We provide a wide variety of items ranging from fiction and non-fiction for adults, teens and children including large prints text’s and dyslexia friendly children’s books, DVDs, talking books, music scores, language courses and compact discs.

• Public toilets - including Baby Change facilities.
• Read and Relax area on the ground floor
• Library Service at Home - if you have difficulty coming into the library, we can provide a monthly delivery service to your door. We have stock to suit all tastes, including books in large print and spoken word items on CD and tape.
• A microfilm/fiche reader-printer bookable in advance and a photocopier are available for public use.
• Archives for local and family history research, including old newspapers, maps, parish records and local photographs of historic interest. We have 51 Peoples Network terminals available, including 3 specifically for children and 1 supporting visually impaired users. Terminals can be booked for 2-hour sessions free of charge to use Internet or Microsoft Office facilities. Black and white printing costs 15p per side of A4 or 50p for colour. Digital Champion Help– If you are need of any assistance when using our computers then please ask a member of staff about booking a session with one of our Digital Champions. Try our self-service machines, if you haven't used these before - our friendly staff will be happy to help. Placing Reservations – Sometimes we may not always have what you’re looking for, but you’re in luck! With our amazing interlibrary service, we can order and reserve items from one of the 23 libraries in Worcestershire for a small reservation fee of 80p. All library users have free access to the genealogy website Ancestry if they access it using one of our Peoples Network terminals at the library. Please follow this link for more information:

We have a vast range of local history books. Some of the collection is for reference only, but copies of many local books are available for loan from other departments in the library. There are entries for these loanable items in the library's catalogue.
