Young Voices
It was our first club today and unfortunately we had major technical issues!!!!! 😵‍💫
However,the show must go on as they say and the children were brilliant! They already know most of the pop medley.
Frustratingly the technical issue was sorted after the club - but this means we will have full sound next week!

This afternoon, 1A have been busy shape hunting! After learning about squares, triangles, rectangles and circles, we decided it would be a good idea to spot them in our environment!

Miss Lettice gave us all a shape! We tried to match as many things to our shape as we could. We decided that triangles were the hardest to come across.

Ask us how many sides each shape has, you’ll be very impressed.

Fantastic maths work 1A!

Year 2 and Year 4 are swimming tomorrow. Please make sure all earrings are removed before school and children bring their swimming kit and towel.

History is one of our focuses for this half term. We started by understanding the words ‘past’, ‘present’ and ‘future’ and designed objects that may exist in years to come! We had:
-televisions that fly away after too much screen time
-rainbow water running from taps, with each colour a new flavour
-flying cars and Tesla’s in space
-fridges that fill up themselves with no need for shopping and
-sensors in the ground to detect burglars

We had such a creative afternoon in 2A😊

Team work, laughter and concentration.
A great start to Year 2A last week with some maths games. 🎲

This week every team of adults in school was given a flock of ducks to hide "in plain sight" in their rooms.
They then had to try to increase their flock by finding other ducks and adding them to their collection.
HOWEVER, if they took a duck from someone's flock they had to give the adults in the room a compliment.
So we have been giving and receiving lots of compliments this week - with lots of smiles and laughs - and here is the winning team!

Congratulations Nursery!

(The actual ducks hidden were tiny resin ones and out of the reach of small children!)
