On Friday, 2394 Sqn joined together to celebrate our successes over the past year with a formal dinner.

✈️ 85th ANNIVERSARY PARADE

On Sunday, 17 cadets from 2394 Sqn turned out on parade, alongside 600 other cadets from Central and East Yorkshire Wing, to celebrate 85 years of the Air Training Corps.

It was a sight to behold and we are so proud of all of our cadets who made the effort to represent the squadron so well.

🚁🚑 2394 VISITS AIR AMBULANCE

Last week, some of our cadets had an amazing opportunity to visit the Great North Air Ambulance, based in Teesside.

They had a great time being shown around the hangar, and getting to see the team deploy.

🇬🇧 VJ DAY

On Saturday, a contingent of 2394’s cadets came together to join a parade in Redcar commemorating Victory in Japan Day, 80 years on.

We then formed up in Redcar’s Garden of Remembrance for the unveiling of a memorial to the RAF - a WW2 propellor - by HM Deputy Lord Lieutenant for North Yorkshire.

The “forgotten army” will never be forgotten. We will remember them 🌹

✈️ 2394 VISIT DRAKEN

Last week, some of our cadets had an amazing opportunity to visit Draken at Teesside Airport, who support the RAF with flying training.

They had a fantastic time!

Huge congrats to our drill team who beat both the Army and Sea Cadets to win the coveted Armed Forces Day drill trophy!

🛫 2394 VISIT RAF WADDINGTON!

Today, 8 cadets from 2394 Sqn had an amazing opportunity to visit RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire.

They got to see the Red Arrows, meet serving RAF personnel and even explore the fire section! 🚒
