PATHWAY TO PLANT CONSTRUCTION

Looking to upskill or retrain in Tees Valley’s growing construction sector?

Our new pathway will help you become workplace-ready and develop the skills employers need.

You will have the opportunity to complete emergency first aid, construction-focused English and maths, health and safety training and your CSCS card.

Once you have completed the pathway, you can progress to an NPORS licence in a range of plant machinery, including:

Forklift Truck - Reach
Forklift Truck - Counterbalance
HIAB (Reach, Grab and Brick)
Dumper Truck
360 Excavator
Telescopic Handler
Roto Telescopic Handler
Loading Shovel
Tractor Operator
Ride on Roller
Skid Steer (Bobcat)

Develop basic gardening skills and knowledge while increasing confidence and wellbeing through practical growing activities.
This course will cover:
- Sowing seeds
- Growing and maintain plants
- Carrying out basic plant care tasks
- Recognising common garden plants, herbs, flowers, and vegetables.
