A proud moment for the battalion 👏

Last night, Brigadier Adam Foden DSO MBE visited the battalion to see first-hand how we train, prepare, and develop our soldiers’ lethality and professionalism.

During the visit, he presented his coin to LCpl Rosie Tong in recognition of an extraordinary achievement — rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic as part of a three-woman team. An outstanding display of resilience, teamwork, and determination.

This is what we’re about: pushing limits, building elite teams, and achieving things most people only dream of.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Join us and be part of something bigger.

Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? 💪🌊

This week, the Executive Officer, Major Steve Dryden, and the Director of Music, Major Lawrence Sale, both of 7 Rifles, took on the challenge of a Level 2 Powerboat course—and proved that stepping outside your comfort zone doesn’t come with an age limit.

From mastering the controls to cutting through open water, it’s all about pushing boundaries, building confidence, and leading by example. Whether you’re starting your journey or looking for your next challenge, there’s always something new to learn.

Think you’ve missed your chance? Think again.

Join us. Challenge yourself. 🚤
