Schools & colleges: half term is the perfect time to get your service and maintenance up to date.

This week our engineers are on site carrying out planned servicing and fault rectification across:

🔥 Fire alarm systems (priority compliance checks, testing & certification)
💡 Emergency lighting (functional testing, battery checks and reporting)
🔔 Intruder alarms (servicing, signalling/remote monitoring checks and fault repairs)
🚪 Access control (locks, releases, readers and safe egress testing)
📹 CCTV (camera/NVR health checks, image quality, recording and remote access)

For peace of mind on education sites, all engineers are security screened to BS7858 and hold Enhanced DBS clearance.

We are also:
✅ BAFE certified for fire systems
✅ SSAIB accredited for intruder alarms, access control and CCTV

We’re pleased to share that our engineer Sam has successfully completed both the Paxton Net2 Essential and Net2 Advanced training courses.

At Optimal Fire & Security, investing in our team is a key part of maintaining high industry standards across all our SSAIB and BAFE-accredited services.
Sam has been working hard over the past year and is now confidently out on the road supporting a growing number of our fire & security projects — this certification is a great milestone in his development.
