This afternoon at Burghfield Common Library it’s Lego Club from 4-5:30pm. What can you create with those many coloured bricks?

Over at Mortimer Library it’s a Spanish Social at 3pm. If you speak Spanish, or want to improve, go along.

Also at Mortimer Library is Teen Chess from 5-6pm.

We have Rhymetime with Lana at 10:30am followed by Stay & Play from 11am to 12 noon. Our Rhymetime truly is a fun half hour of singing action songs and nursery rhymes using musical instruments, puppets and a parachute. Sometimes there are bubbles…

This afternoon is our first Craft & Chat for adults. Running from 2:30pm, bring along your own project and work on it in peace or chat to me and my volunteers. I’m hoping a few will come along. 😁🧶👩‍🎨

The library will be open from 2-5pm today.

As high temperatures are forecast, the blinds will be drawn and the lights off to reduce the temperature inside the library.

We have chilled water in the fridge so do ask for a drink. Remember, stay hydrated.

It’s Rhymetime with Lana tomorrow, Thursday, 10:30am. Come along for a half hour of fun action songs and nursery rhymes.

Then, from 11am it’s Stay & Play. Parents and carers can enjoy time to chat while their little ones play with the toys from .

Saturday 23rd May is Elmer’s birthday. To help us celebrate, Rachel is coming back for an Elmer Storytime at 10:30am followed by a crafts session where you can make your own Elmer ears and decorate a small cake.

Next week for half term both Burghfield and Mortimer Libraries have activities running.
