Our Padel Challenge is just a couple of weeks away!

We’re looking forward to an evening of padel, friendly competition and plenty of laughs! A huge thank you to everyone who has already signed up — we can’t wait to see you there.

There are still spaces available, so if you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time to join us. Whether you’re a padel pro or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome!

Rahab would like to say a BIG thank you to Hewlett Packard, Hillsong Church and Women Aglow for their donations of toiletries and clothes for the women.

Each individual donation means so much to the women to make them feel loved, cared for and improve their lives.

If you are an individual who would like to donate something as small and meaningful as some toiletries, a church who would like to do a church family collection or a corporate company who could do something on a larger scale please do get in touch with us.

Join us for a sporty night of exhilarating Padel action to help raise funds for The Mustard Tree on Friday 18th September 7–10pm

The tournament is being held at the Atrium Health Club, Scours Lane, Tilehurst. We have 48 spaces, and you can sign up on our website. https://themustardtree.org/padel/

This is a mixed doubles challenge, so you can sign up with a partner or be teamed up with someone on the day.

All abilities welcome. No experience necessary.
Refreshments will be available and there’s a trophy to be won!

We are delighted that in partnership with FAITH Christian Group , Cirdic and CommuniCare we have been awarded a government grant to improve homelessness support in Reading. Our Rahab team will be growing our outreach and recruiting soon so watch this space! This funding will help us enable women who are homeless or insecurely housed to find safety, stability and long-term support.

This month's prayer bulletin is available! It contains good news from our projects. A quote from one of our young people sums up what Starting Point is about. ‘Everyone always gives up on me and I never had the opportunity to have a mentor at school. I feel like I finally have a mentor that can support me and become a role model in my life, everything is coming together’. Please pray for us to be able to support more young people over the coming autumn term.

I'm delighted to share that The Mustard Tree Foundation has once again achieved the Safe and Sound Quality Standard! 🎉

This recognition reflects the strong governance and excellent work taking place across all eight areas of running and managing the charity. It's a fantastic achievement for everyone involved, and we're proud that the award has been renewed for another three years.
