🫙Would you like to try refill shopping, but not sure where to start?

📍Try the new tool - the Refill Locator - to show you your nearest refill locations!

Obviously, recycling is great. But refill shops go a step further, and are removing packaging waste altogether.

From mini fan to... wind turbine? ⚡

Over 7 million mini fans were bought in the UK last year to keep us cool. They’re pocket-sized heroes when the temperature soars! But when they finally stop spinning, their journey shouldn’t end in the kitchen bin.

Inside that tiny plastic shell are some seriously precious materials like gold, copper, and lithium.

By recycling your old fans (and any other tired tech!), you’re sending those materials back into the world to build awesome new things, like wind turbines or medical equipment. Talk about a glow-up. 🚀

Remember: if it has a plug, battery, or cable, it can be reused or recycled!

♻ Just rinse off any food, scrunch it into a ball, and pop it in the recycling bin.

As you fire up the grill this weekend, don’t forget to recycle your food waste! 🍖🥗

Got leftovers? No problem! Store them in the fridge and enjoy them the next day. But those inedible bits like bones and veggie peelings they belong to your food waste caddy. ♻️

And remember, disposable BBQs cannot be recycled! Be sure to let it cool completely (this can take a few hours) before placing it in your household residual waste 🔥
