📣 ***OFF-SEASON OPENING TIMES!*** 📣

The Summer might be over but if you're brave enough to keep going throughout the winter months then we are still here from open water swimming & stand up paddle boarding! 🏊🏄

Our off-season Swim & SUP sessions start tomorrow (Tuesday 26th September) with the opening days & times below:

✅ Tuesday (8:00am - 11:00am)
✅ Saturday (8:00am - 11:00am)
✅ Sunday (8:00am - 11:00am)

🔄 During these sessions only the 250m/400m swim loops will be open.

🚫 Unfortunately our cafe will be closed so please bring your hot drinks and snacks for your pre & post Swim/ SUP! ☕️🍰

🗓️ Bookings will open every Sunday for all sessions for the coming week.

🎟️ Bookings must be made online in advanced and booking must be shown at the Swim & SUP beach on arrival.

Just before the temperatures drop we thought we would add some bonus Swim & SUP sessions! We will now be open tomorrow Monday 11th September for open water swimming and stand up paddle boarding with sessions available from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. 🏊🏄

TOMORROWS SWIM & SUP TIMES UPDATED!

Unfortunately, we have had to reduce the session times for tomorrow (31st August) due to low bookings. Therefore the first few early morning sessions have been cancelled with all sessions resuming as normal from 10am - 7pm.

We also have a Full Moon Swim & SUP event on tomorrow evening (8pm - 9pm). So there’s still plenty of time to get in the water! 🏊‍♂️🏄

Just a quick note to say a huge, thank you to each and everyone of you who wished me luck both before my swim and congratulations after I successfully became a ‘channel swimmer’ 🇬🇧🏊‍♀️🇫🇷 👍It had been years in the making, probably about 40!!!😂

And thank you for all the donations for Helen and Douglas House🙏 (If you would like to donate there is a link in the comments)

Not sure it’s quite sunk in yet but I am sure it will in the next few days😊

Shout out to this incredible individual!! Our amazing resident swim coach Sue Lord Open Water Coaching touched down on the French coast this morning after completing her first solo Channel Swim. 🇬🇧🏊‍♀️🇫🇷

Sue has completed many amazing swim challenges in the past but swimming the English Channel has always been a life long ambition and now she’s finally done it! 🏊‍♀️🌊💪🏻

Sue set off from the shores of Dover yesterday at 1:44pm and after hours and hours of continued swimming she managed to reach the other side earlier this morning, completing her Channel Swim and stepping onto the beach at 5:58am. WOW!! 🤩

From all the team at Caversham Lakes we want to say a massive congratulations to the swim machine that is Sue Lord Open Water Coaching 🎉
